OUR STORY
"I Built This Because I Was Missing It."
It started with a normal Tuesday.
I looked up from my phone and realized I couldn't remember the last real conversation I'd had with my kid. Not "how was school" in the car. A real one. The kind you remember.
That's when the math hit me.
You get 18 summers with your kid. Then they're gone.
18 winters. 18 birthdays. Roughly 940 Saturdays from the day they're born until the day they leave. It sounds like a lot. It isn't. And most of us are spending them half-present. One eye on a screen, one hand on a phone, telling ourselves we'll be more there next week.
I didn't want to be that dad.
So I made the thing I wished existed.
I didn't want another parenting book that sits on a shelf making you feel guilty. I wanted something a busy, tired, well-meaning dad would actually use.
So I created The Dad Playbook.
28 days. One play a day. Each one takes a few minutes — no special skills, no big budget, no "quality time" pressure. Just simple, specific things to do with your kid that turn ordinary evenings into the moments they'll remember for the rest of their lives.
I tested every play on our own kids first. If it felt like homework, it got cut. If it made a kid light up — or made a dad go quiet for a second — it made the book.
This isn't about being a perfect dad.
You're not a bad dad. You're a busy one. There's a difference.
The Dad Playbook isn't here to make you feel guilty about the moments you've missed. It's here to make sure you catch the ones that are still coming. One play at a time, starting tonight.
Because your kid won't remember the iPad.
They'll remember you.
